Buying bleach online

I asked my new dentist if I could buy bleach while I was there, I've already got the trays from my last one. She said they didn't have it in stock and I should just buy it from the Philips website. I'm wary about buying things like that online so thought I'd be okay with her recommendation but I'm not getting very far because it looks like it's only professionals who can buy it from them, is that right, does anyone know? And if so, where do you buy yours?

At least she didn’t rip you off for £25+ for a small tube! Just Google- lots of sites sell it, but make sure you get the same strength as before.

Your dentist is wrong, it is illegal for a non dentist to purchase bleaching solutions with above 0.1% hydrogen peroxide in the U.K. , EU , NZ etc. You cannot buy from the official sites as it is illegal to sell to you.

The only sites you can buy from are run by criminals who are knowingly breaking the law, so you have no guarantee the gels are what they say they are.

Ring up the practice to find out when they have some in stock, you are quite right it is not safe to buy from illegal sites.

Thank you @Lollygaggle , I didn't know that, I'll phone up on Monday and ask them to order it for me or keep me some when they get it in.

@Bignanna thank you for answering too but I didn't want to take any chances with something so potentially damaging.
