Split ends…

I cannot afford a haircut right now.

is it enough to go through my hair with some scissors and just remove the split ends? Will I end up with some random mess or will it help my hair look healthier until I can afford a professional cut?

If you hair is in any way wavy, it’ll be quite forgiving! Nothing to lose - hair regrows.

It’s poker straight!

I agree with PP, hair grows back so you may as well give it a go and see what you think, however PLEASE do not use household scissors as they are nowhere near sharp enough. Order some proper hair scissors from amazon as anything else will cause more split ends

Google 'Split Ender Pro'

I can’t afford a haircut… not sure why I’d pay £180 on some random split end tool?!

Do you have clippers? Get your friend or partner to do a blunt cut using them. It works brilliantly on poker straight hair
