My eye area has declined lately, would Botox help here? I know eyes are a tricky area.

Your eyes are a lovely colour! Watching this as I have similar lines 😊

wizzywig · 05/03/2025 12:47

An under eye skin booster may help?

Gosh, aren’t they! No advice on the lines, but lucky you!

ChangingHistory · 05/03/2025 14:04

Are the lines only there when you smile? Botox can stop the skin around your eyes moving so they aren't pulled into that shape, and resting themike that will relax static lines a bit and stop them getting any worse.

I really wouldn't though, who wants a frozen face. I know people who use scar tape over them at night and swear it makes a difference, I'd rather try that.

I do use tret quite close to my eyes, up to the bit where it changes from face skin to finer eye skin.

A photo is a moment in time, it's probably not noticeable to others. I try not to look too closely!

Pigcasso · 05/03/2025 14:07

You have the same eye colour as me! I am surprised that people are saying its nice, I always thought my eyes looked like dull dishwater and I hate them

Rosietru · 05/03/2025 14:31

Thanks @Pigcasso 🤣

Yes only like this when smiling.

Just read my post back, oops sounds a bit insulting!😂

I get Botox in my crows feet and some in the area you've photographed OP and yes it works. I also use tretinoin at night and A LOT of hydrating Korean toners, essences and moisturiser on my skin including my eye area. This help with hydration and make the fine lines less noticeable.

Keepgettingolder81 · 05/03/2025 16:15

Yes Botox and skin booster

5128gap · 05/03/2025 17:04

I've never had my crows feet done. Too scared to have botox near my eye. Plus i dont mind them - sign of a life well laughed! However my MiL in her 70s and my colleague in her 40s both have that area done and it absolutely works to smooth the wrinkles.

DingDongDarcy · 05/03/2025 18:49

Beautiful eyes! If this were a picture in a Guess the Celeb quiz I’d say Queen Letizia of Spain - lucky you

Jillfi · 05/03/2025 20:04

Try tretinoin cream. It should reduce them.
Botox works too, yes.

Rosietru · 05/03/2025 21:25

Thanks all! I will take the Queen Letizia compliment thank you.

I will work more on hydration for a while but good to know Botox is an option if I don't see a difference.

I don't know how old you are OP but I find your eye area charming as it is!

Rosietru · 05/03/2025 22:13

Thank you @FastFood I'm 45.

I'm not trying to stop you, get them done if you want, but I think your laughter lines look gorgeous!

You're a good bit younger looking, but your eyes make me think of Angela Rippon's.
