I’m an apple shape with no boobs or hips

I’m a size 18 waist but nothing up top or hips. I’m a proper apple. I’m a beach ball on legs. Think monsters inc 🙂

I’m totally lost on what I can wear.

I’m supposed to go back to office working having worked at home for years so I need to buy a lot of new clothes suddenly. God knows what I’m going to have to buy. Any ideas?

I expect you have good legs! How about skinny jeans or leggings and a long tunic topic? Wear a long necklace to create a 'V' look on your body if you're not wearing a V neck. Accessories like a neck scarf or long earrings might also be good. I'll bet you'll look great 😊

Cocoon dresses. Heavier T-shirt dresses. I’ve seen a fair few mini shift dresses for Summer, they work really well. Buy size 18 slim jeans and they will be much looser on you.Wear them with long slim shirts. Dark trousers work ok, but patterned trousers can be very good. Elasticated waists are the apples friend. They look shit on everyone else. But size down. Longer length single button jackets. Very plain slim coats. I think it works to keep top and bottom the same colour but break it up with a long cardigan or coat. Don’t have any breaks at waist level. The ballet core look can work really well, leotard type top and chiffon or pleated skirt, with a lofty cardigan.
You probably don’t feel it, but you are lucky, most apples have a lot of bosom too and it is really hard to accommodate breasts and belly, with nothing on the bottom half for balance.

Oh golly - such kindness and so much to learn about. I’ve lived in massively rolled up men’s jeans despite being 5ft for nearly 5 years.

Have a look at itsjustmemarleen on you tube and insta. I don’t particularly like all the fast fashion hauls she does but she’s an apple shaped stylist and she does a lot of workwear type looks.

Are cocoon dresses wrong for you? I get that. I asked the personal stylist who does brilliant AMA s on here for jacket advice and she recommended waterfall cardigans( because Im in my 60s?). I was horrified. But I have the loveliest cocoon dress in cherry red linen . It looks so cool with flat sandals and a big bag. I think they may be sometimes called kaftan dresses, but that puts me off.
