Oscars Fashion: Who’s up for a thread all about the fashion?!

No to criticising the bodies but celebrating the amazing fashion and beyond!

Who do you think will pull it out of the bag? I think Cynthia Erivio will as will Ariana Grande so looking forward to seeing their dresses. I think there will be lots of archival gowns on show.

I think she looks stunning ethereal, like a Disney princess. She’s flawless

Selena is my favourite, followed by Demi.

Not that keen on either Ariana or Cynthia's dresses, but I do think they'd look good together.

The yellow suit - surely someone should have told him he looks bloody awful in it before now? But then, I guess making a splash is the point, not actually looking good.

Oh what a beautiful beginning! Ms Erivo in white and Ms Grande in red. Glorious to see and hear.

I love Andrew Garfield's coffee coloured outfit. Then again, I love Andrew Garfield.
And he doesn't look like a foam banana from Woolworth's Pick & Mix.

Lovely moments watching Paul Tazewell win for Best Costume Design for Wicked.

He was a vision of flawless perfection.

I liked Halle Berry and Whoopi Goldberg's dresses the best.

Timothy looks hideous. I like Omar Apollo very glam.

Cynthia looks incredible. There's not many actresses who could carry off that dress. Ariana's dress reminds me of those toilet roll cover dolls!

Halle and Demi are forever babes. Witchcraft, the surgeon's knife, whatever it is they both look fantastic.

Mikey Madison loves a strapless dress but this one was a bit underwhelming. Perhaps she assumed she wouldn't win so didn't make a huge effort? Will be interesting to see where her career goes from now.

And at least Timotheeee (sponsored by Lurpak?) and Colman Domingo stopped the menswear section from looking too dull!

Cynthia Erivo's dress is great. Ariana Grande's botched brow lift and resultant non-stop 🥺 expression detracts from everything she wears.

I don't understand Ariana's brows. She looks like a Disney character! I don't know if it's the shape of them or a botox brow lift gone wrong, but in either case it's easy enough to rectify.

TC can do no wrong for me really. I liked the yellow pastel suit (more than the pink suit from the other week). He's just such a talent and I feel quite maternal towards watching the young'uns do well. (Dear Lord I am getting old).

TC yellow outfit makes sense now. 🇺🇦

Has Ariana got her munchkin boyfriend smuggled in under her skirt?

Elle Fanning looked beautiful, Selena looked gorgeous. I also have a soft spot for Lisa from
black pink, the coat is tailored to perfection on her.

I have seen mixed reaction to Cynthia but I actually like the drama of it and at least it wasn't a safe choice.

Raye and Michelle Yeoh for me. Beautifully structured, colourful gowns.

I miss TC’s longer hair!

For me, he is really not pulling off the pastel suits. Ryan Gosling did pastel suits last year for the Barbie promo and looked amazing.

I wish Goldie Hawn had hoicked up her dress a bit. The way it's sitting does her no favours. She looks great though.
