I’ve been working hard and have dropped to a size 14 (from 18-20). 5ft 4 with a short body/longer legs. Very hourglass shaped (waist 28in, bust 42in, hips 44in). Have a bit of a mum tum below my smaller waist! I’m updating my wardrobe and am searching for dresses suitable for work as a hospital consultant, mix of inpatient and outpatient work. I’m 44 years old.
Requirements:
Sleeves, ideally short or 3/4
Structured shoulder or a collar
Not a high/round neck. Boat ok.
Not too warm, hospitals are hot!
Modest
Pockets
Can be worn with flats
Suit a winter colour palette (I’m very pale, very cool toned with dark brown hair which is about 20% grey and grey eyes)
Midi or below knee length
Budget- up to £350 if quality is really good
I’ve always loved dresses but am massively struggling to find any at present as most seem to be more slouchy these days. Wrap dresses don’t really work due to my shorter body, they are too revealing!
