Smart/casual work clothes - help!

I mostly work from home but I’m going to an in-person training course for a week soon and I’m really worried I have nothing to wear. I need to lose weight and have been holding off buying things till then. I’m about 5’6”, size 14, weight fairly evenly spread but biggish bust so things with buttons don’t work. Dress code is relaxed but there’ll be people there I need to network with so thinking smart casual. Any suggestions?

Have you thought about a fine knit poloneck** or scoop neck top, tucked into drawstring trousers or dark jeans and with a blazer? Then add some brogues or pointed flats?

**conscious what you said about a big bust but I am pretty busty and polonecks work fine on me - possibly because I have a very long neck!

Have you looked at M&S. I think their work wear range are worth looking at. Often recommended on this website.

Slimmish black trousers, a flattering top and a jacket cut well on the shoulders plus loafers or ballet pumps

You could also get away with dark colour jeans with a jacket
