Recommended UK shampoo bars

I've been using the Kitsch rice water bar, and I absolutely love it. However it is a bit pricey and takes a while to arrive.

Has anyone used anything that is just as good but is made here in the UK? Kitsch is the only bar I've ever tried so I don't know where to start.

I use gruum. Love the shampoo and soap bars but the conditioner is woeful. Not sure where it’s made.

I find Muji's shampoo bar very good.

Garnier worked well for me but my Sainsbury's has stopped stocking them. And there was another one, possibly Be Kind, but again Sainsbury's has stopped stocking it. I can only get Eco Warrior there now.

I tried Gruum a few years ago but it didn't suit me. I don't know why people have such different experiences of the same shampoo bars - perhaps it's local water or hair type.

There are quite a few threads about shampoo bars - see Similar Threads at the bottom of this page or do a search.

Did you buy anything? How are you finding it? I love the kitsch tea tree shampoo and conditioner nat, but like you say they're eclectic and take a long time to send so an hoping to find a uk alternative that works for my hair and water as well as the kitsch ones

I know this thread is quite a few months old now but I was just looking at the Kitsch hair products and wanted to find out how they are?

My hair is shoulder length - but there is a lot of it, and it's coloured - so my shampoo and conditioner has to work hard. But I do love to travel, and use less plastic, so really do want to find a bar product that I can get on with.

My hair is thick and to my waist. I do like the kitsch rice water bar but the KinKind is good too.
