What type of hairpiece to cover back of crown?

My thinning hair is getting to me, it's getting worse, but is mainly back of head (ferritin 62, hg 130). Underneath hair is thick and lovely, it's totally different texture and thickness from the hair on top.

Natural hair is wavy and I have a couple of scars on scalp with bald patches from getting melanoma removed.

What sort of hairpiece should I look for and how do I match it to the texture of my own hair? Seeing as I don't style my own hair I can't see me tonging the extra bit!

Hair toppers are great, see if anyone in your area can recommend and fit, better than ordering on line and getting it wrong. For example Morgans in Chester are very good. They matched me perfectly and could trim but I used my own hairdresser.
