Can anyone reccomend a good razor for sensitive skin. All the ones I've tried leave me with red bumps and ingrown hairs... I want smooth lovely skin 😫

Venus Raspberry works for me, although we all have different skin.

But what are you shaving with? Soap? Gel? If so try a good quality hair conditioner, the razor glides. And ensure a sharp blade. Worn and blunt blades will exasperate the condition.

I currently use Venus and hair conditioner and still get left with litte red bumps it's so frustrating, I'm exfoliating a couple of times a week and using aveeno oat after. Maybe I just have rubbish leg skin 🤣 my leg hair grows soooo fast aswell, I have prickles the next day!

I exfoliate at the same time as shaving - I use one of those natural mittens to rub soap into my legs. I rub it in between using the razor too. I find it's the only way. I also shave my legs every time I shower i.e. daily. Takes 1 min. Just use a bog standard razor with a couple of blades, or even the cheaper one blade ones.

It's harder in winter as I think the legs are colder and the cuticles are more raised as a result.

Hair conditioner sounds like it would irritate my legs- I just use natural soaps.

Is your razor blunt? I find the sharper that razor, the less prone I am to getting bumps and ingrown hairs. I find that razors aimed at women are pretty weakass, compared to mens' ones, so always use Gillette blades.

If you are constantly having to shave your legs and your leg hair is dark, you may want to consider home laser hair removal as a long-term solution.

Thank you for all your replies, this happens even with a brand new blade. I have heard mens razors are much better maybe I'll give those a shot! Appreciate all the advice
