Completely agree, @JaneJeffer , but i took one for the team and its a link to Lyst, to a £10k OdlR dress.

I was going to suggest a trip to Hobbs, OP, given that i was in there earlier on and they have lots of very pretty floral dresses right now, but if you're after a OdlR ball gown, they probably arent what you're looking for!

That's lovely, but I'd be tempted to take some scissors to that netting at the bottom and trim around the flowers so the hem follows the line of the petals.

Well done you. Every single one, including the Adriana Papell who I don't usually like, as well as being cheaper, is nicer than the Oscar de La Renta dress.

I'm sure you're not ! I'm 65. I might not wear the above the knee one but I'd wear the others.

Ok and maybe not the halternecks, but definitely the others. The Sister Jane and Needle & Thread would be my top choices.
