Warm and dry - jacket/coat

Hello! I need a new coat/jacket that is suitable for winter weather. I don't spend a lot of time in the cold and rain, but will be spending a week in Scotland at Christmas, so I need to bear that in mind. Rest of the time, I am just nipping in and out of car and buildings, so I don't need anything super-expensive. Just something that is rain proof and will be warm, not too long (I'm only 5'3") and comfortable to wear on trains, planes or whatever since this will be my only 'out in the cold and rain' jacket. I'm not known for stylish, but that would be a bonus.

Anyone come across what I'm looking for?

Regatta do some great coats. I have the Romine 11 in olive for work, it's warm, waterproof but lightweight.

Thank you, @AcquadiP - I'll have a look at Regatta, as I've found them good before. And, @IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads I've checked out LandsEnd and Cotton Traders, but will look again. @ColourByNumbers88 that's exactly the short of thing I'm looking for! Would prefer it cinched at the waist a bit, but other than that, it's perfect.
