I am short and prefer wearing one colour rather than cutting things off at my waist. I have this sweater + a-line knee skirt navy combo that looks lovely together and I used to wear with knee-high tan boots. The boots are heeled and I can't be bothered with that now. I have these other gorgeous tan boots which are more of a chunky style, but they are mid-calf, similar to doc martens but much smarter.
My issue is that they expose much more of my leg, and I am not sure what colour tights would look better. Nude tights would be good against the tan, but perhaps a bit too light against the navy. Navy tights might look too dark against the tan. Any thoughts?
