What to wear for a casual Sunday brunch, meeting a new group of women?

Context? Sunday morning Costa to set up a litter picking group? Or multi starred restaurant to discuss raising half a million for the new school theatre?

Also, are you shopping your wardrobe or buying something new? If the latter, do you have a budget?

Sorry, local nice cafe/restaurant. I’m a bit nervous as meeting new people, whom I do not know at all.

No shopping, I have clothes of every persuasion 🙈. Everyone in their fifties, but o do tend to mutton

I wore barrel cord trousers with a boxy 3/4 sleeve heavy cotton T-shirt. Chunky silver jewellery and a cashmere wrap thingy that doubled as coat, because I’m menopausal and run extremely hot. I had a hobo suede bag and suede ankle boots. No idea if that’s fashionable or not, but I did get asked where my clothes were from.

Oh, that’s lovely @AnSionnachGlic . I have a gorgeous chocolate brown skirt like that, so I can style that up with chunky boots, and a jacket
