I have an ankle injury and it's better to go without socks but it's too cold! I'm hoping someone is in the know re socks which won't cling and are easy to get on. My regular socks are too difficult to get on/ too tight on my foot/calf. I can wear tights but need socks as the only shoes I can wear look so bad with the tights
TIA

Look for diabetic socks on amazon. We used to buy these for FIL as he could not cope with tight elastic on his legs. They do ladies colours/patterns too.

Primark cosy socks, but you can't get a shoe over them, good for at home.
I also like seasalt bamboo sailor socks they don't have an elasticated top it's just a loose roll over , some of their 'arty' socks are the same you just have to check the description

You need bamboo socks, they are super soft and stretchy without being tight.

I have some from a brand called gentle grip, they are different at the top to normal socks and not so tight gentlegrip.co.uk/

I bought some from BAM but they are tight at the top (probably wouldn't be usually but I have swelling )

H J Hall (www.hj.co.uk) and Cosyfeet (www.cosyfeet.com) both do soft top socks.
