Socks

What socks do you wear with ankle grazer length jeans and trainers?

Do they need to pick up on colours in the rest of the outfit (in which case do I need lots of different colours?) or is black/white fine?

I have a few pairs of coloured trainers so quite like wearing a similar shade to my trainer

I have some green trainers so will see if I can find some green socks! The days of liner socks were so much easier I feel

I just wear liner socks still. I’m not a fan of the visible sock look.

Perhaps that's what I should do. After so many years of bare ankles I feel a bit self conscious wearing socks!

I usually have black or grey on my bottom so have black or grey men's socks as they come up long enough so no gap with winter hairy leg showing.

Haha I had forgotten that advantage of socks - no need to worry about hairy legs!

I have fairly thick woolen style socks in various neutrals that go with my (neutral) trainers.

I don't think you can go wrong with a basic white sports sock TBH.
I have a few pairs of ankle grazer trousers that I wear with brogues though and then I tend to wear wool type socks in a complementary colour.
