Wedding guest - on a farm!

Looking for some suggestions around what to wear for a summer wedding at the beginning of Summer!

Plus sized, though hopeful may be a dress size or two smaller by then! Size 18-20.

Completely stuck on footwear too - it's a working farm!

All ideas welcomed, thank you.

My sisters wedding reception was at her farm, all the guests wore wellies and then their outfits.

There was quite a collection of different colours and styles.

My son was married at a farm in summer two years ago. The guests tended towards garden-party type. flowy, floral types. Either flat sandals or wedge. Men's suit jackets soon came off, sleeves were rolled up and ties loosened because it was a really warm day. Dancing was in an open sided barn. No animals involved; it was a veg farm/winery. Lovely.

It would be helpful if you could indicate a budget, @YouCanLetItGo.

Were you thinking of a dress or separates? And do you have any height or style restrictions - sleeves, flounces, prints, etc?

Places like:

Farm Rio

Gather and See

Kemi Telford

might have what you’re looking for. That KT dress is sold out in the largest size but they’ll all have more Summer wear as the season moves on.

Would you want to spend more, or less than these prices?

Thanks all!

Unhelpfully I don't really know what I want, open to suggestions. I have another wedding to attend too so if it can work for a country club wedding too that would be a bonus.

I think I might have found a dress last night, but footwear is trickier!

I appreciate those links, I'm a short-arse so those styles don't tend to suit me, however gorgeous they are!

Wellies for feet and pack a flat pair of sandals etc for the reception if that's somewhere mud free.

I wore a knee length yellow halter neck with a full skirt for my friends farm wedding 12 years ago, about your size. But I'd say something you can easily traverse mud in so knee high at longest

I would just wear lace up normal shoes or those slip on trainer type ones, practical all the way
