Flaky skin

I am experiencing flakes on my face.

Sometimes I don't have time to look after myself and I may only wash my face a few times a week. I am trying to improve this.

I washed my face this morning.

My face cream/mositurer of choice is the snail mucin serum and cream. I do find it good.

This evening I noticed a lot of dry flakes embedded on my skin especially on my nose between my eye brows. It looks awful. It's so flaky.

Is there any mositurer that will help with this.

Another product I love is the elf holy hydration. I do find that very good.

I can't fault the snail mucin. I really do like it and there is an improvement in my skin.

Tagging on to your thread if you don't mind. I've also found flaky skin on my face and I don't know why

Would exfoliation help? That removes old, dead skin cells.

I have had some really flaky skin after treat and find Altruist 10% urea cream great.

It could be Seborrheic dermatitis which people find washing with anti dandruff shampoo helps.

I’d look for a gentle chemical exfoliator- AHA or BHA 😊

I ditched my skin care routine and used E45 spray on light moisturiser sparingly - dabbed on and it cleared up in 2 days- I had flaky scaly skin that was spreading around my hairline as well as the nose crease/between eyes.
I had recently introduced a serum for daytime and I don't know if this triggered it.
Going to reintroduce my usual evening routine soon- well tonight as I've had make up on today. I think I'd just overloaded on products but sometimes the trusty old products are best.

If you're only managing to wash your face a few times a week I expect you could do with doing it every day to get rid of build up. If it is SD then anti dandruff shampoo helps. CeraVe cream is great for dry skin.
