Wedding Guest Dress

So I've recently lost 7.5 stone and I'm a completely different shape/size to before. I am now a size 12 (top) / 14 bottom.and need a knock out dress for a wedding.

It is a hobby friend so a bunch of us have been invited for the evening do. Dress code is more glam rather than country wedding but I don't know where to start.

I have about £70 to spend on the dress, suit jewel colours best and have big hips still. Don't like the tops of my arms so would prefer something to cover that bit up.

Any ideas?

I'd take a mate and try some on, or arrange for a personal stylist session so you can get a feel for what works for you now. I'm thinking a coord would work better, as even the most knock out dress isn't going to sit right in either a 12 or a 14? (I'm different sizes top and bottom, and dresses aren't my friend!)

There's loads of wide leg/palazzo trousers about at the moment which can look amazing if styled right and are really flattering if they are worn the right length, might that work?
