Day into evening outfit

Next Saturday, afternoon in Liverpool for drinks and maybe food then taking the train to a family party in a social club for a 40th.
I'm 5'3", size 16, large tummy and boobs but do have a waist. I'll probably be wearing black low wedge boots since they're comfortable for walking/train journey/long day.
Pale skin, red hair, blue eyes.
Help! What do I wear?

Your question is a bit "how long is a piece of string?" There's so many different answers.

If it were me I'd wear a dress, probably a recent purchase. Will the social club event be glammed up?

I imagine people will be quite 'dressy' for the evening party. I have no idea what kind of dress/what is stylish/how to make it work for day and evening

This probably won't be much help but if it were me I'd wear one of these dresses (or similar) with flat boots and a coat during the day and take a pair of dressy shoes to change into.

I did that before Christmas where I was at day events going on to evening events and wore the red dress and the black and pink dress with boots and cardigans during the day and swapped the boots for flat, silver Mary Janes.
