Veneers or Invisalign?

I wonder if anyone has any experience they would like to share with improving their smile with invisalign or veneers?

I have had about four consultants with different orthodontists to discuss braces or invisalign. My case is quite complicated and the estimates for treatments are between £8-£10k and would involve quite invasive procedures and possible tooth removal depending on what I go for (most orthos stated they would prefer not to remove healthy teeth).

After expressing concern at the price and options, one orthodontist said he could refer me to their Prosthodontist who could reshape my canine to look like the missing tooth, put veneers on the front two teeth and replace a crown I have covering a peg tooth. My front two teeth are chipped from bashing them on a metal bar a few years ago and have some bonding on them to 'fix' them but it's not perfect. Veneers might actually be an improvement. But I am worried about looking odd.

Has anyone had good/bad experience with either options? Thank you.

Surely it depends what the issues are as these are two very different treatments?

Well I have a missing lateral incisor on one side and a small peg tooth on the other. I’ve had a crown over the peg tooth for about 30 years now. My midline has shifted over the years and one of my two front teeth overlaps the other. I’m not looking for perfect symmetry as even with braces I was told it would not be possible, just a more uniform look. My front four teeth are all different sizes .
