15 years ago I used to buy and own a bunch of suits, pretty much all from next, that had a skirt and trouser option. All bought in an actual shop. I loved wearing them with shirts or tops.

I've since worn dresses and jackets for ages, or separates with skirts l. Rarely trousers.

I've decided I am into trousers now but I also need a suit and a jacket and a pair of shoes. I am hankering after those simple times.

Where shall I shop for this old fashioned wonder?

Thanks!!!

Totally depends on how much you want to spend.

And your clothing size, proportions, style preferences. And degree of formality or informality. Courtroom or cocktail bar? (Primarily - I’ve worn the same for both.)

D’you want a big name designer, or a small niche tailor, or mainstream High St? New or pre-owned? All seasons or one?

I've found that Matalan has always done nice workwear.

Hobbs usually have skirt and trouser options for their suits. Jigsaw used to, not sure if they still do matching skirts. The Fold do I think, in their workwear range.
