Daily wear trainers

As the title suggests, looking for trainers to wear daily. It took a while to prise the skinny jeans away from me but now I have fully embraced the wide leg trousers and am loving it! Styling them is a bit more challenging though.

I still have plain white Fitflop Rally which are super comfortable but wanted something darker and slightly smarter. I work in a casual environment and ideally want one pair for work and pleasure. Black trainers with black or white soles? Or any other suggestion?

Fitflop Rally again (they are unbelievably comfortable) or another brand/style?

I feel like I have no idea what is fashionable anymore

I quite like colourful trainers, and recently I have owned yellow New Balance retro-ish (can’t remember the style name) and also some converse in metallic gold. Now on Vinted am eyeing up adidas retro styles like gazelles.

m I don’t think any of these are on trend, I think they’ve been around a while, but I also see them as fairly classic. Similarly I think Vans old-school styles are a bit like DM 8-eyelet boots- they hold their own whatever year or decade it is.

Thanks @AlertCat and so sorry, I never got a notification that anyone had posted on this. I am going to take another look at New Balance too.

I know Vans are classic but are they comfortable? In my head, they are like Converse which look good but soles too thin

Adidas have some lovely colours in their Gazelle range. I couldnt resist buying 4 pairs 🙊

@Thornybush I am going to need to exercise some restraint too - I always justify it as I get much better price per wear than any pair of heels!

This, so many gorgeous colours, adidas also do the thick sole ones that look good with wide leg jeans (at least I think they do and that's what I wear)
