Zara not refunding me - help!!

I sent back a large order to Zara of £444. They have refunded me £77 and are saying that’s all I sent back - it’s absolutely not!! I’ve already complained and they said that their warehouse processed returns with accuracy so have given me the correct refund

I’m really at a loss of what to do and really need my money back 😭 anyone have any ideas?! Xx

Have you got the receipt of sending back? Doesn’t it usually show the weight of the item being returned?

Doggymummar · 11/02/2025 22:09

Yeah the parcel they collected will have the weight on it.

Lapt91 · 11/02/2025 22:14

Thanks - it was via inpost so I don’t think that would be on there 😭

I'd just do a chargeback via your payment card. Did you request the return within 14 days of receipt of the delivery?

Motorina · 12/02/2025 00:00

Did you pay on credit card? If so, do a s75 claim.

A friend of mine had a similar issue, she sent them numerous mails complaining and they did nothing until she threatened them with going to small claims. They eventually refunded the rest.

I’ve had this before albeit for a lesser amount. I just bombarded their customer WhatsApp. They eventually refunded me. It’s put me off Zara now as if you read their reviews this is worryingly common. It’s sickening to feel like your money has just been taken like this, Zara are dreadful. I hope you get this resolved.
I rarely bother with them due to their appalling returns and the huge drop in quality. Items I bought in store last year were dreadful. I have bought nothing since.
I appreciate it doesn’t help you now but using Royal Mail does at least give the weight of return to enable some proof.

Thanks all I’m going to keep going! It’s so stressful not what I need with a needy baby

Honestly the quickest thing would be for you to just call your bank and ask them to do a chargeback. Don't waste more time arguing with Zara. Also don't wait too long to call the bank as I believe you only have a limited time to make the claim - check what the period is for your bank.

I told Zara I’d be taking legal action and voila I got a refund :D I tried the bank and they said as it’s a case of he said she said they probably can’t help but thank god it’s resolved!
