£50 is too much to spend on slippers, isn't it?

I like these

I can't justify it though

They work on the same principles as the fitflops and the mbts apparently. They only just brought them out so I haven't bought any yet. And I won't be either since I bought the bloody fit flops last year and I've hardly worn them.

Click on the sale and see what's left in your size cheap

I always take my slippers when we go on holiday, even camping

TooTicky · 08/05/2008 16:38

Oh yes I know the evils of cold toes, but not in May.
Couldn't you felt some?

TooTicky · 08/05/2008 16:42

How about these?

TooTicky · 08/05/2008 16:44

Ooh, these are more expensive...

TooTicky · 08/05/2008 16:45

Hey, these are FUN!

TooTicky · 08/05/2008 16:45

Do say I haven't offended you.....

Urgh. Sorry, but they are awful.

TooTicky · 08/05/2008 18:25

I don't think OP particularly wanted comments on the slippers, just confirmation that £50 is a lot to pay for slippers. Even nice woollen ones.

NotABanana · 08/05/2008 18:48

Just said what I thought. No crime committed.

Fillyjonk · 09/05/2008 09:02

lol i had to go and be a Good Parent. I am going to be found out one of those days (who am I kidding, I'm sure they already know )

ds actually has the slippers in your first link, ticky! though smaller and modded to add quite a lot of jingly bells...

the thing is-stylish slippers are a bit if an oxymoron, aren't they? slippers ought to be a bit ugly and cosy, but pref w/o resorting to polyester.

i think i will buy them for me for my birthday and from the footthing link, I do need new sandals also as 3 kids in 4 years has squashed my feet .

OP posts:
TooTicky · 09/05/2008 13:36

Squashed?

Fillyjonk · 10/05/2008 07:09

they are quite flat and wide

they did not used to be this way

I have no arches at all now

but slippers make it ok

I would worry about woolen slippers getting smelly and gross. But then I am sweaty, and don't wear slippers, so what I do know?

TooTicky · 10/05/2008 09:33

Just buy all your footwear from here
Made to measure, reasonably priced AND dreamily comfortable. Even with bare feet. Especially with bare feet.

chefswife · 11/05/2008 10:55

I would say ?YES?. If you like them, who cares how much they cost? coming from a girl who just spent £60 on sandals and £40 on flip flops last week? but they are sweet.
