Which brands are in these days - in a retro way. I don’t normally care but I don’t buy things often so thinking a little.

Always have adidas, wanted something different. I like Nike but the kids wear Nike dunks and jordans

Puma are nice if your usual is Adidas

I had these puma ones in Black and white in the 90s and again 10 years ago. But maybe green would be different! Very inexpensive

Back in the 90s I’d have looked at all the above as a bit townie. Tretorns, Vans or Keds if you’re not cosplaying a Kappa slapper.

Never heard the Kappa slapper term! I thought they were dad trainers, which doesnt bother me too much. Vans are the foot wear of teens where I live.
