Is this suitable for low key wedding guest?

This skirt. Paired with a bright top. Is it too “black”/Christmas-y?

I’m trying not to buy new things and this is all I have that’s vaguely appropriate for non-church wedding later this month.

I think that's nice for a wedding. Definitely a good idea to try and wear something you already have.

I think it would be perfect for a low key wedding when paired with a brighter top and bright / light coloured shoes.

Pair it with a nice bright top of ‘luxury’ material e.g. satin or silk, not jersey.
