stripemarshmallow · 03/02/2025 18:03

hello,

currently breastfeeding and my boobs have gone from mosquito bites to 34F! having a miserable time finding bras, been measured twice at m&s and I just feel like my boobs are always out.
would love a crop top/ sports bra / bralet type bra with some support, doesnt need to be a nursing bra but need to be able to whack a boob out.
please help me, unfamilar terrain!!

Sugarcandy are great you can usually get bundles on VINTED or at Bravissimo if you want new

IsItAllRubbish · 03/02/2025 19:02

M&S are notoriously poor at measuring for bras. Google the boob or bust method. Then take a look at BraStop dot com !

Keepingongoing · 03/02/2025 19:12

Bravissimo is your friend here. Lots of choices in 34F but get them to help you check your size as M&S are notoriously rubbish at measuring.

For nursing bras where your size might be changing a lot you could try George at Asda, they are really good value and they have the type you want online.
Also next online or bravissimo (which will be pricier)

MissKittyFantastico84 · 03/02/2025 20:24

Not a sexy name, but Big Bloomers Company have soft crop tops for bigger cup sizes, perfect for coverage and also breastfeeding access.

IwillrunIwillfly · 03/02/2025 20:28

I've just had my baby and for feeding ordered a Molke bra and so far seems much comfier than anything I had with my first! It's crossover so easy enough to feed in and has decent support.

stripemarshmallow · 03/02/2025 21:07

oh I didnt know that m&s were terrible for fits! that does make sense as the bra they sold me feels too small and too big at the same time. i'm falling out of the cups and the back is riding up!

I've just bought from curvy Kate as I find their bras a good fit.
I found triumph too small bandwise even buying the same size

illegalSausage · 03/02/2025 21:30

Brastop.com are brilliant

DecafDodger · 03/02/2025 21:51

You probably need to go down a couple of back sizes and up a few cups

purplemonstermum · 03/02/2025 21:53

Another vote for Bravissimo. They literally changed my life when I first went there and had properly fitted bras (and a huge choice) for the first time ever (32GG). The lady in John Lewis who was suposed to be measuring me had made me cry before that with her comment, "Oh...we don't have anything in YOUR size..."

madaboutpurple · 03/02/2025 22:40

I have used Amplebosom website and have liked the bras they sell.

Sparxdislike · 03/02/2025 22:42

I bought one from lemonade dolls in the filler cup range. I am surprised at how comfy and supportive it is.

Sparxdislike · 03/02/2025 22:42

Fuller cup even! Would also work for breast feeding :)

Fluffyowl00 · 03/02/2025 22:46

Bra stop. Also measure your boobs and buy from Vinted or eBay. Lots of people selling bras they’ve never used or only used a few times. I could only wear non underwired for 3 months PP and then I was ok with hot milk but too expensive to buy full price as size changed a lot.

KrazyboutKillian · 03/02/2025 23:06

Bravissimo again
I love the Millie , not what you are looking for , but it fits me perfectly , I was always measured as a dd but actually I’m an f !
I was most indignant, about that but it’s the best fitting bra I have ever had

I’m sure they will find you what you need

Mairzydotes · 04/02/2025 06:57

Molke are amazing, especially while breastfeeding.

Flev · 04/02/2025 07:01

Another vote here for Bravissimo. I'm an H Cup as standard but ballooned to a J when breastfeeding, but they didn't bat an eyelid and found me choices so I could be comfortable. If you can get to a store in person and get a fitting they are so helpful!

DecafDodger · 04/02/2025 08:20

feels too small and too big at the same time. i'm falling out of the cups and the back is riding up!

Typical for M&S measuring. I bet you come out of Bravissimo in something like 30H :D

stripemarshmallow · 04/02/2025 18:59

omg fitted with bravissimo - 32G 😂

My best tip for big boob sizing - go to M & S, grab handfuls of different sizes, cups and waist band that you think might fit, then try them all on until you find a size that fits. Much easier than asking them to fit you as they are terrible! And bear in mind different bras might fit slightly differently.

I went from 40gg to 36ee with Bravissimo 🤣

LividBlah · 04/02/2025 19:40

Mine are bigger and the answer is Molke Original.

Normal M&S. It's because they don't go big enough on cups (most only an F) so they'll claim you're an F and just up the back size until they can squeeze you in the cups.

Bravissimo are good but for breastfeeding I moved over to molke. I was a 32K before pregnancy, pregnancy and breastfeeding made me a 34M 😱

Pashazade · 04/02/2025 19:43

In that size I like the Fantasie bras with side support, their website is good you can buy direct.
