Please be gentle with me. Last year I had a breakdown and put on a lot of weight. I'm trying to sort my eating out but am not read yet to face going back to slimming world.
I'm a size 24 on top 24/26 bottom half.
I have a big stomach/apron and quite a large bum.
I gave Bern living in leggings/jeggings loose tshirt and a xardigan but this is not my style.
I have no idea what jeans to wear though. Will looser jeans make me look even bigger?
I'm also 42 so wore bootleg jeans in my teens. Will I look just really old fashioned?
Yesterday I wore jumper, blue jeggings and black ankle boots. I caught site of myself out shopping and I just looked so outdated. 😬

I should think anything would be better than jeggings - they don’t help anyone look their best. I can’t say which style of jeans would suit you best, but you could browse some of the brands suggested here and see what looks most promising:

Hello op! I see this thread is a few weeks old, and didn't get many replies. Have you had any luck? I just felt compelled to post, because I ordered some Levi's which arrived today, and they're fab. They're from the Plus range... Ribcage straight leg ankle grazers. They have quite a wide leg, but definitely not baggy. Kind of fitted over bum and thigh, and straight down from there. They are very high waisted and very flattering. They come up slightly large in my opinion, so I ordered a 14 instead of my usual 16 on the bottom half, and they fit beautifully. I would even be happy to wear them with a top tucked in, which I steer clear of usually. They are modelled on the website by women a good few sizes larger than me, and they really look super. If you like that idea, but want something less expensive, you'd probably find that style in many places like M&S etc too.

Totally second the Levi's plus size. I've lost a lot of weight over the last year or so and genuinely found the plus sized Levi's in any style a better fit than the 'regular sized' Levi's I'm in now 😂
