Top ideas for leather skirt

I bought this skirt from M&S and would like to wear it to a 50th party soon but I have no idea what top to wear with it.
It's mid calf on me and I have black boots that I wear with it. I've so far only worn it with boat neck batwing fine knit jumpers but would like something a bit nicer for a party. I haven't been to a party in a long time and have no idea what to even start looking for.
I'm a size12/14, 34F and don't really do sleeveless. Or red, I look terrible in red.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

It really depends on the look you're going for, and your age. A silky blouse will look classy and timeless, but lace, sheer and sequins might look a bit sexy!

I have this skirt in mole. It's lovely.

I wore it last night with a sleeveless high neck fine knitted top.

I think anything that is shorter and nipped in at the waist, or tucked in.
