Slippers with a good sole

I usually wear my Croc flip-flops at home but looking for a pair of slippers. Needs to be something with a good sole for walking. I hate these fluffy, foamy type soles that you can only shuffle in. Preferably something with a back, not a slider type shoe. Also something that looks pretty if possible!

Uggs are great

Not pretty though

They look like pork pies

Apart from the rather sick-making text on the sole, these are the ones I have

They're pretty plain - not sure if they're pretty enough - but also very comfortable, and you don't have to shuffle around in them!

Moshulu slippers are brilliant. I wear the bootie style but they do regular ones as well.

Sleepers for walking ? You mean for more than out to the bin?

I was in hospital recently and when trying to get a bit of exercise in on the walk to the hospital shop they were awful, I was just shuffling along. So in case of future stays I was looking for something a bit sturdier. I'd like to be able to walk as you would in a pair of runners but still be slippers!

I'm the same, can't find any slippers that are sturdy enough so I wear fur lined crocs as my slippers, recommend as are so comfy.

I wear crocs for slippers. Nothing else seems to give me support.

I wear the fluffy lined Crocs, they're even better!

Before Christmas I bought a pair in Tesco. Like fake Birkenstocks but fake suede on the outside and fur lined. Perfect for winter. About 16 pounds

efeslight · 31/01/2025 21:00

With a good firm sole😀

yoshiblue · 31/01/2025 21:00

Next mules with the hard sole are ace. They do boot type ones too.

Lovelysummerdays · 31/01/2025 21:00

Sheepskin boots. I am a fan. So comfy and warm but not sweaty.

Treeleaf11 · 31/01/2025 21:02

I tried to find supportive slippers but couldn't ever find any. Then I realised that putting gel insoles in an pair makes them supportive.

Treeleaf11 · 31/01/2025 21:02

*any

Thighdentitycrisis · 31/01/2025 21:05

Do you have an idea of budget?

CrushingOnRubies · 31/01/2025 21:09

I also like Moshulu slippers. They're the only ones I can actually walk in

beetr00 · 31/01/2025 21:13

They do ones with full backs, though I find the nuke ones very supportive www.pavers.co.uk/products/bobs-too-cosy-chic-cat-slippers-ske36052-322-287/Multi
