Dewy Foundation aged 40

First of all I guess, is this an appropriate look at my age? (actually 39 but easier to round it up I suppose!)

My skin is pretty good, I look after it well, including having botox/skin booster treatments. No particular concerns... however, the past week or so when I've looked in the mirror under lights I feel like my foundation and concealer looks really cakey! I'd love to look a bit more dewy/glowy and for my face to look less dry (even though my skin isn't particularly dry in itself!).

I currently use Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Foundation mixed with Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow, and the Dior cream concealer.

Don't want to spend too much given that this is very much a want and not a need as I still have loads of my other foundation left (and a whole bottle of Dior full coverage I haven't started on yet)

I love Charlotte tilbury beautiful skin foundation, it’s very glowy and lightweight but buildable if you need better coverage. I found the airbrush one a bit cakey and drying.
For my cheaper day to day one I like is L’Oréal tinted serum foundation, it’s not as glowy as the Charlotte tilbury but still really good for about £10-£12

Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Tint is so so good! It isn’t cheap however a little goes a long way and it makes your skin look naturally lovely. I’ve worn foundation for years and I never thought I’d change but this is a game changer. One small point - you need to shake it very well before using to mix up the pigment. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

I like the Dior Forever Skin Glow at the moment, IT Cosmetics CC cream is also really glowy but quite thick

I use Clinique city block followed by NARS light reflecting foundation with a drop of Drunk Elephant b goldie drops mixed in.

I bought this for my holiday last year. I was quite impressed. Good coverage, gives a nice glow and not at all cakey or dry looking. I'm 41 BTW!
