Bruise cover up help

I had an IPL treatment this week and have horrendous bruising.

It’s not an exaggeration, unfortunately it’s very black and blue and I can’t hide it with make up.

i bought a dermaflague coverup kit but it doesn’t work. (I’m very fair and it’s too dark)

Please can I have some suggestions to help me cover it up?

i think I’ll have it for a few weeks/ month it really is that bad and it’s getting me down 😢

I don't understand how you can be bruised from IPL. Have you seen a doctor?

I think the settings were too high.
She was targeting thread veins. (She’s referred to her clinical lead who said it will heal in time)

Obviously I’m worried about PIH and damage/more thread veins caused from the trauma.

But for now I’m worried about covering the bruising as I have a customer facing role 🤦‍♀️

If your cover up make up shade is too dark, try patting baby powder over the top (used to work on love bites in my teens).

Arnica cream may help reduce the bruises, to 'hide' them you need to use the opposite colour to help neutralise it.

Vichy covers bruising well

Dermablend is what I was given to cover a scar.

Brilliant thank you all. I can’t seem to get the colour right. But Vichy looks good, I’ll order some of this
