Jigsaw double faced wool coat

I've just treated myself to one of these, it was on sale john lewis so great price £160 down from £ 350, I've never paid this much for a coat, I have on a leather jacket but not a wool coat, I was wondering if anyone have one, they do them every year, and it sold out very quickly after being reduced, wondering if you find them warm and if good quality, my life is very casual, dogs walks and city trips maybe twice a month, so I'm thinking will I get the wear, or will it end up just hanging in my cupboard.

Definitely reserve it for city trips and away from dogs and mud.

Look after it and it should last ages. Hang it up on a good broad shouldered hanger in fresh air after every wear. If you don’t have one a really good clothes brush will keep it looking its best. I can highly recommend this one:

(Bought one nearly 40 years ago and still use it all the time.) Try to avoid sending the coat to the dry cleaners.
