Using tretinoin from online provider

Hi,

I was prescribed Tretinoin by a local provider to prevent wrinkles. I’m running out of the cream and was going to order more from her via GetHarley, but it is £120 and when looking around online I can get it cheaper. Can anyone recommend an online provider to prescribe and provide it, please?

I've been buying it here for years:

https://www.farmaciaenandorra.com/shop/

They aren't allowed to advertise medicines any more, so you need to email them or fill out their contact form, and they'll then send you details and prices of what they sell. Think I pay just under €20 a tube, and I buy 3 or 4 at a time as postage is also about €20.

Wow that’s so much cheaper! Will definitely look into that!

I was looking at skin&me and went through the online consultation, but it just tries to sell me a monthly tube of stuff and doesn’t say what’s in it - I can’t tell if tret is in the concoction or not.

I'm with skin and me, there is definitely tret in mine! The amount of tret in the prescription does increase every month, as it's best to start of low and work up slowly.

AllstarFacilier · 29/01/2025 09:37

What is included with the skin and me? Is it everything I need for the price of that monthly tube, other than cleanser, or do I still need a moisturiser and serums?

You get some freebies in your first box, moisturiser, sunscreen and something else I can't quite remember.
But I just use a basic cheap cleanser and moisturiser, nothing fancy.
If you want a referral code, pm me.
Not being pushy about it at all, but you will get your first and fifth month for just postage.
You could use your first month and then just cancel, at any time.

I am with skin + me also. Bear in mind, you might have to ask for the tretinoin in your daily doser. Mine also has niacinamide and azelaic acid. Initially my pen was prescribed without tretinoin and I had to ask for it to be added.

You could say that you're already on whatever dose you're on and to give you that dose in your doser.

I also recommend farmacia andorra. We just buy a few tubes at a time

UmberMoose · 29/01/2025 13:06

There are many. I would generally spend 120 gbp for 2 years of tretinoin with paypal. Here goes my routine with tretinoin:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
Garnier spf
Evening:
Cerave moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

How do you pay, by card or do they insist on a transfer?

Rogerisourlodger · 29/01/2025 14:48

They send a single use link via which you pay their bank.

Re Skin + me, they claim that your cream 'prescription' is individual to you, but that's not been my experience as DD and I received exactly the same cream despite the obvious age difference, different concerns and very different skin types. That put me off a bit, along with the high cost compared to buying retirides.

Silverstag · 29/01/2025 19:22

@Bignanna we either paid by credit card or PayPal, definitely not a transfer

rumkar · 29/01/2025 23:42

£120 is a lot. Monderma and Skin+Me are £20ish. Monderma's is micronised too.

A €20 tube from a pharmacy will last several months, maybe 3 or 4, so that's the cheapest option of all.

Dermatica tell you what is in your prescription and what percentage - you can also ask for what you want when you do the consultation, so you can tell them what you’ve already had and how it has worked so far

Do you pay by bank transfer/PayPal? Seems dodgy?

I use paypal to order from online and it around 4-5ish per tube of 20gms

I've already answered this above. Of course it's not dodgy, MN posters have been using this particular pharmacy for years.

Skin & me for the easy option, there is space to tell them your current tret dose.

Do the quiz and put it in your basket then leave and they'll send you an offer, I think mine was half price for 3 months plus free stuff.

Be aware they will not give you tret if you do not do the photos.

I now buy tret from Skinorac which is an Indian company. I pay by crypto for a discount and have never had an issue..

I’m with Dermatica and the formula is printed on the box it comes in. I imagine skin and me are the same.
I know people say they have no problem buying it from other countries, but some want transfers, and I’m not happy with some firm in Spain or India having my details.
it’s time tret became available otc in the U.K.

Buying tret with crypto lol.

It should be OTC I agree.

Usually if you ask for it, they will prescribe.

Who? The GP? Unless you have a skin condition warranting the use of tret it won’t be prescribed!

Bloom15 · 16/02/2025 13:32

I get mine from Dermatica - no issues and I can pay around £25 per month
