Does it matter what dermapen is used?

So after spending a fortune on treatments such a co2 laser. Profhilo etc. I’m a little tired of the cost. However. Would love to try Microneedling with a dermapen. But, the price differences range from 50 a session. To 200-300. When you need a good few session. The 200-300 mark really adds up. It would be ok as a one off. Does it really matter what kind of dermapen is used?

How did you find prophilo? Was it worth the money?

Caroline Hirons even dissed it on the quiet. It hydrated my skin. A little. No more than lots of water would have done. Really not worth the price tag. Follow dr Joshua London. He’s an aesthetics doctor but dismisses half the crap pushed on us and says Microneedling every time. I’ve had Polyneucleotides. Again. Could see no difference. He said the aesthetics market has saturated. So they need to bring along a new product that we just “needed” for profit.

They hype all these treatments up, women spend thousands with little discernible result, then the treatments are dropped and the explanation is that they’ve been found not to be effective, but we don’t get any compensation or discounts off alternative treatments! When will we learn? Apart from a tiny bit of filler in the naso labials, I’m not having any more of these overpriced, overhyped treatments that keep these salons in massive profits. I’m investing in a dermalux led for home use, and will probably save for a face lift.
