Am I missing something with Hush?

A couple of work colleagues always rave about Hush - I just looked at their sale and couldn’t believe the original price of some of the items. And looking at the materials it’s just the usual cheap stuff other high street brands use? Am I missing something and it’s actually amazing in the flesh? There are some amazing bargains in the sale (£10 down from £90 etc) but I can’t see that it’s worth it? Do you rate them?

I don’t mind spending money on quality but on the website it all looks quite cheap… My colleagues always look great but not sure how much they’re wearing is Hush.

It used to be much better quality (like so many shops). The odd piece is excellent but much harder to tell that online/Vinted.

Used to be great but quality has gone down and prices have gone up.
I do still sometimes buy trousers from them as they are a good fit for me but the days of ordering loads from them every season are long over

I haven't bought anything from there for a few years now so I had a look online - that sale is amazing in terms of % taken off! Items for less than £20 which used to be well over £50. Are they in trouble? Or just too much stuff, too overpriced. There was a bikini top for about £17, down from £55 - no way would I pay £55 for a Hush bikini top!
A lot of their clothes are quite shapeless and the sizing is huge, I often had to send stuff back as a size 8, even their 6 would be too big and just look shapeless and massive. Having said that I still have some of their sweatshirts from a few years back and some summer dresses which I still wear. I think they lost their way a bit in the last 5 years or so and now they look like everywhere else when they used to have stuff that was a bit different - especially the jumpers & T-shirts.
