I’ve got around £200 to spend on some new clothes. I don’t need anything formal - I work from home and if I have any meetings it’s always smart / casual.

I’m hoping to buy some items I can mix and match. I’m sure I won’t get massively far with my budget but I want to make some sensible choices.

I’m 40, 5ft 3, apple shape.

Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Check out "The Set" collection in Next

Lots of mix and match neutrals - from jeans to tops to dresses

F & F at Tescos have 25% off at the moment, so in effect you can get £270 of clothes for your £200 - that included sale too.

I was there today and really impressed with their loungewear, knitwear, jeans, coats and jackets There was so much choice, I bought a lovely camel coat for £49.50, cream cotton rib long knitted dress £15 (sale), a black long knitted dress £25 and some gold jewellery and silver jewellery.

M&S for this - two pairs wide legs trousers in different colours and some tops / knit to match / coordinate.
