How to style these trousers

I’ve just got these and they’re so comfy but I can’t work out what to wear with them without looking like I’ve gone out in my pyjamas! I possibly needed a smaller size as they’re quite baggy, but I’ve washed them so can’t return. Does anyone have any ideas? These kind of trousers look so chic on slim women, but I’m definitely not slim. Are they a lost cause that I should just wear as PJs?

Size 18, 5ft6, apron belly (thanks for that, kids), large bust (HH cup), tend to prefer casual and muted colours, no neon or florals! Thanks in advance to any style expert who can help :)

Do you have a link? I have a similar pair that I wore a lot last summer - either with a plain white t shirt and a cardigan or with a Uniqlo merino jumper. I generally prefer to be very safe but I felt very elegant, understated and possibly a little bit French. My biggest challenge, as always, is me and my belief that people are pointing and laughing at me.

A nice knitted jumper.

With a large bust I'd go for a shirt. But I love shirts.
