Advanced Nutrition supplements

Inspired by just reading a thread asking what's good for a glowing face, I wondered if anyone had ever tried Advanced Nutrition supplements?

I got a mesotherapy facial on Tuesday for the first time and we got chatting about skincare. The girl was adamant that putting stuff on your face is only 50% of the work and that skin supplements are a must for the internal (makes sense). She wasn't pushing a sale or anything; but when I got home & looked at the price of the ones she suggested, I was shocked!

Has anyone had any experience with these or any other type of skin specific supplement?

I take their Skin Clear Biome. I got a 10 day sample over the summer as a free gift. Was going to bin them, but decided to give them a go. My skin is already good as I have regular Lumecca and Morpheus 8, so I think I have reached a level where anything else wouldn’t give massive visible improvements; however, the improvements to my mental and gut health have been astounding. I feel so much less anxious and edgy. On that alone, I have continued to take them. Should probably switch to the one for aging skin but the bacteria strains are different. I noticed changes within the 10 day sample programme.

Have you continued them as a monthly subscription or you just take them at random? Interesting about the calming effects they've had too! Can I also ask where you got the free gift?

I get mine from Face the Future. I think you can buy the 10 day trial. I take mine every day.

Which ones specifically do you take? Do you think they're good? 🤔

I used to work with this company, was a good few years ago but would definitely recommend. What are your skin concerns op?

Boohun · 24/01/2025 22:53

Also she’s absolutely correct, your topical skincare is useless without supporting the deeper layers of skin internally

Just getting older (late 30s), skin is quite uneven, large pores. I got a leaflet and there's just SO many types. Everything in beauty these days is so overwhelming! Is there a good place to start?

You could start with just the Skin Vit A or maybe skin complete. There’s quite a few new ones since I worked there but basically anything Vitamin A is what you need

It's interesting. Reviews tend to be great or the opposite.

It's generally considered overpriced. Surely having a healthy site is cheaper.

Thank you for the advice! Skin Ultimate was what was advised...£90 per month, that's why I'm unsure!

It's hard when reviews are so polarising. Are supplements from a health shop or chemist just the same?!
