Wedding guest outfit..clueless

Hi I'm desperately trying to find an outfit for a wedding next month. It needs to be comfortable and suitable for breastfeeding in! I've been looking at wrap dresses and would like opinions on these please?
I've only ever been to summer weddings- are these suitable- is green ok to wear? I've got an ivory jacket to wear over the top and have heels or boots to wear too. I know I'm overthinking but I have zero confidence!
Thank you

Hopefully the links/pics work.

I’m wondering if you might find something by

Beyond Nine

on Vinted. The dresses you’ve linked may be fine but at those prices they might be quite meanly cut and less convenient than you’d like.

There is nothing formal on that website. I can't breastfeed in any of those dresses and I'm on a budget..

Are there something like jojo maman Bebe dresses on vinted? They are often set for feeding, I had a wrap dress from there I got 2nd hand (and sold again!) and I wore a feeding vest underneath for a christening at a similar time

ANagsHead · 23/01/2025 12:36

Ok … I think they intend the latticework dresses to be formal - and in past seasons they’ve had things in other fabrics. They’re definitely designed for breastfeeding. I mentioned looking for their things on Vinted because you’re on a budget.

I hope you find something perfect for you.

I really like the last one but I'm thinking the fabric won't be very forgiving of any drips or mess while feeding, if that's a concern? Otherwise I like the first one, but much prefer the blue.

Any of the dresses you've linked to would be fine for a winter wedding but you would need to try on to see if they are breastfeeding friendly.

Silkfred are good and they have a specific "breastfeeding friendly" selection.

They're beautiful! What are thoughts on this one?

I think that is lovely and not too informal at all! Especially dressed up with heels and maybe a different belt if you have one?

Bignanna · 23/01/2025 14:48

OP- I love all three, very elegant and suitable.

OopsieeDaisy · 23/01/2025 15:14

All lovely! My favourite is the silkfred one and I don’t think it’s too casual, it would look gorgeous with heels! Otherwise, the first or third from your original post. Might be worth ordering a couple anyway just to see what you’ll most easily be able to feed in. IME wrap dresses work best if the wrap is sewn in but you can’t always tell this before buying.

JackieGoodman · 24/01/2025 10:55

@SparklingJoyous lovely, definitely not too casual Smile
