Swimming costume that covers droopy backside

I’m going away soon and have just tried on a swimming costume from yesteryear and my goodness my backside looks awful in it! The rest of it is actually quite flattering so I’m wondering about maybe a wrap around skirt to go over or maybe a swimsuit with built in shorts? I’m 50+ for reference and a size 12-14.

I have this one for exactly the same reason you've said. It's got shorts underneath and the skirt is great for hiding my bum. The whole thing is really flattering and very easy to wear. There's lots of colours and patterns too.

Maybe a bit better for chilling round the pool

Have a look at Land's End - they do decent swimwear year round. It's but dreadful, but it's not going to win any prizes for high fashion either. A lot of of costumes in a "long body" option too.

The only swimsuits I like are by Fantasie (bra sized) They also do tankinis and cover ups. JL sell them but I order direct from Fantasie. Decent swimsuits shouldn’t bag around the bottom (or anywhere else)!

I love Fantasie's ones too and have a few from years ago. The issue (in my case so I may be misreading the OP) isn't that the material's sagging, it's literally my bum that's saggy Blush But I've lost a lot of weight and I'm in my 50s so this will be why!

Oh yes my arse is saggy. I’m looking at everything so don’t think I’m not here. I have a good hourglass shape. Very good boobs, but saggy arse lol.

You and I have a very similar shape from the sounds of it! I didn't even notice my bum getting saggy until a few months ago when I saw it in the mirror Grin At least it's a bit that can be fairly easily hidden!

Same. I stopped looking at myself years ago, then recently had a look and realised my butt had up and left. Bye girl 👋

I recently bought a new swimmie from La Redoute - the Anne Weyburn range I think. Plenty of arse coverage and not too expensive. https://www.laredoute.co.uk/ppdp/prod-324173658.aspx lots of different colours.
