Coat/jacket for spring

What style and colour of jacket will you be wearing over the next few months. I'm trying to make an effort to be more fashionable 🙂 for work wear (smart casual office) and maybe a second jacket for evening/weekend wear which will consist of being a taxi driver for DC.

Im looking forward to jacket weather but its still a few months off for me....Im still in big padded monstrosities!LOL😄

Im actually looking forward to coat weather instead. I have a couple of trenches and wool type coats that I cant for it to be warm enough to wear.

Consider blazers and suit jackets over polo necks! Wool or silk vintage men’s jackets are surprisingly warm and can really elevate a nice pair of jeans either with boots during the day or heels at night.

I feel like that’s quite a way off here (Scotland) but my spring jackets are a cream quilted Cos number, a bit of a Frankie Shop dupe, a similar one in dark olive green from Hush via Vinted, and an oversized Whistles black leather jacket from a few years back (they still do it, it’s called the “clean bonded leather jacket” or something along those lines).

I made an impulse purchase of this navy boucle jacket in Zara while hanging around for my hair appointment on Monday and I've barely taken it off the past few days. I will be living in it for the next few months I think.

It's light to wear, but super cosy. They also have it in cream.
