Dyson Airstrait

Hello All,

I just wanted to ask if anyone has a Dyson airstrait It was my Birthday present yesterday off my DH, I did get to use it quickly in the morning and have to say I'm happy with the results on my hair however because I was using it to get ready to go out I didn't fully get to check it over until later that day and I'm unsure if I am being picky or not.

I noticed that the finish on the lighter coloured parts are bad like rough in certain areas mainly the top of them and then the plastic filter cage, I'm a little annoyed at given how much they cost and my husband did buy it from boots direct so it's genuine brand new Dyson, I wanted to know if others have experienced this or if I would be within my rights to ask Dyson to take this back and replace it with another.
Mine is the light pink/dark pink colour.

The price of that if anything isn’t absolutely pristine I would expect Dyson or Boots( not sure who would be responsible) to change it!

Thank you for replying this is what I keep thinking it should be pristine given the price tag and it being brand new again would accept marks or imperfections if it had been a refurb or second hand but it's not.
I think what's annoyed me is I bought a refurb airwrap off them just after Christmas and that is in pristine condition not a mark on it you wouldn't tell it wasn't brand new or unused.
