Incredible customer service

I just wanted to say how brilliant I found the customer service of Victoria Beckham Beauty. I accident ordered 2 of the same lipstick and when I went to return they told me to keep the lipstick and refunded me anyway with a lovely email saying gift to a friend.
The products are packaged beautifully and the lipsticks are the bomb imho

But it’s made me reflect on how sad it is that our current metric for good customer service is how well a place responds when something goes wrong. I’m usually the first to sing the praises of online shopping - but I’m realising that I’ve had almost no real interaction with a shop for the last twenty years. In the 90s I used to frequent a clothes store where the staff brought ‘champagne’ to you in the dressing room - now I just pace the floor anxiously praying the courier will actually turn up. I rarely have to return anything, so most of the time it scarcely matters if there’s a human at the other end of the transaction at all.
