I'm a hairdresser and those highlights are not ok!
They are uneven and looks like they've put too much bleach in the foils causing them to bleed
I would go back and ask for them to rectify, if not refund.

Fedupwithneighbours · 21/01/2025 06:26

You are right. Your hairdresser is wrong! You can tell they have bled by the square bits by the root. Same happened to me and I just found a new hairdresser (who understood and sorted the problem)

Whatisittomorrow · 21/01/2025 07:04

Definitely not ok!! I would not be happy with this

Bignanna · 21/01/2025 12:13

They look ok. What’s wrong with them?

ChangingHistory · 21/01/2025 12:23

The brown bits at your temples on pic 3 and 4 - is far make up or fake tan or is it a block of your natural hair colour? If it's your hair that's the easiest but to point to.

It all looks really patchy and uneven I'm afraid.

psuedocream3 · 21/01/2025 12:26

It does look patchy on top, but how was your hair parted when they did it? Could it be that they were doing face framing and the parting was in the middle?

It’s actually a blob of my natural hair lol I too also thought it looked like mud 🙃

If they can’t see anything wrong with them I would just request a refund !!
Do not let them fix it !
The bleach has bled throu the foil !
and they just don’t look like that have much experience with foiling technique tbh !
Id get refund and have a consultation with another salon you may just need a root tap and some lowlights to make it all even out itself x

DazedAndConfused321 · 21/01/2025 16:21

That's horrendous, you need to go back! I'd request a refund, don't risk them doing more damage. Then leave a public review. That's unacceptable!

What's wrong with them? Everything the other posters have said! Sorry OP but they are really bad, they had bled or slipped, I had 1 rogue one last week that my hairdresser rectified before I left the salon. They need to refund but don't go back there to rectify!
