Subtle/paler eyeliners for everyday

Hi

Mind boggled with looking at colours.
Can anyone recommend a pencil eyeliner that is appropriate for everyday please.
I have bought VB sea grey metallic thinking it would be subtle but too dark for everyday. Also Sephora cappuccino, Avon smoky diamond and a Rare Beauty brown one.

So a paler or mid brown or grey that doesn't look too dramatic especially if I'm not wearing other makeup but just want a bit of eye definition.
