I’m having a pretty big surgery and going to be at home recovering for a few weeks. I want to treat myself to some comfy loungewear that I can be in but also not feel too much like i am in my PJ’s all day if friends call in etc. I already have nice PJs.

i should feel ok but not be mobile for a couple of weeks.

Dont need to worry about bleeding / mess etc from stitches much as it’s keyhole.

i would like trouser and jumper / cardigan matching set.

can anyone recommend anything? Or anywhere to look? Budget up to around £80 but I would prefer to spend less as can’t imagine I’ll use it much after as I’m very active and always in gym wear but that will be too constricting after surgery. Ideally cotton or wool mix.

I've no ideas, but i was just about to post the same question so I'm tagging along for the replies! Best of luck with your surgery.

Not sure how much you need, but I had a lovely lounge set from Karen Millen last year, cashmere joggers and a hoody. Grey with studs up the side. I sold them on Vinted, it might be worth a look

I would look at Zara Home or H&M

lots of options here, looks like most of them coordinate so you can mix & match your chosen top with the jersey bottoms

White company have some lovely ones but they are expensive. Calzedonia have lovely knitted bottoms but I'm not sure if they have matching tops and I got some lovely knitted bottoms which did have matching tops (that I didn't buy) from Uniqlo

Not sure where your surgery will be OP but I had abdominal keyhole and wasn't able to wear anything with a waistband- I wore dresses for the first few weeks.

I have a pair like these, they're really soft, even the elasticated waist isn't that tight

Yes I have wondered about this but my incisions will be around belly button level so I am thinking I should be ok with trousers worn on the hip level. But also have got a few dresses as well. Just not sure dresses are very practical in this cold weather and the idea of tights over incisions is not appealing.
