Dermaplanning newbie - at home?

I have read threads where people swear by dermaplanning at home, and others where people think it's a total no go.
I've had it done as part of a facial with a medical grade scapel and enjoyed the way my skin felt, but this is expensive and time consuming to keep up.

Looking to try at home with either the tweezerman scapel (changeable blades) or buying a pack of medical ones.

Any recommendations? How easy are the medical ones to use or get wrong?

The tweezer man is good. The Gillette Venus is good too but the blades seem sharper
