Hi!

So to those of you who get your nails done by a nail tech/salon, do you prefer gel nails or biab? Just looking for opinions! :)

I started to get Biab in October and I absolutely love it. My nails have grown so much and they look amazing since I switched from gel and acrylics. They never break or chips between appointments.

Ahh that's great to know! Thank you :)

Biab is so so so much better than gel. Gel only ever lasted me a week, maybe 2 max. Biab just doesn't budge before my next appointment.

Another vote for biab!

Biab all the way!!

With biab do you have to get it fully removed for the next set or can they infill? I had to stop my gels last year as the removal wasn't great for my nails.

Sorry for the hijack!

The reason I've asked is because I'm planning on learning to do nails and becoming a mobile nail tech. I want to start with a gel nail course and I was wondering if it was worth doing a biab course soon after. I think I've got my answer so thank you all! :)

They infill

Gels - I like my nails nice and short so BIAB is pointless for me. Also don’t like how thick it is and the fact that you don’t get it removed every visit.

I think most want Biab atm.

Have given up on all of it as literally an expensive way to trash ones nails.

BIAB all the way. Permanently beautiful nails. With a Russian manicure they look amazing. Always get compliments.
